Learn More »As we approach the end of another year, it's always an excellent opportunity to look back at some of the highlights of the business events calendar.
And once again, the local business awards season has been in full swing, allowing the spotlight to shine on the many companies and their staff who have achieved great things over the past 12 months.
This year, not only were we delighted to have been shortlisted for some awards, but we were also able to sponsor a couple of key categories.
The award recognition started in November.
MDHUB held its annual Awards Lunch.
It wasn’t that long ago that our very own MD Paul Mason was a deserved winner of their MD of the Year.
But this year, the accolades belonged to Emma Penn. She was recognised as a ‘Rising Star’ - a special category for future leaders.
Next came the Adur & Worthing Business Awards, held at the Pavilion in Worthing on November 4.
This year we were delighted to be shortlisted for the ‘Training and Development Award’.
We were so proud of our team to be recognised for all their hard work.
One of the other highlights for us was sponsoring the Young Achiever category.
We recognise the value of developing our future leaders, promoting from within and celebrating the success derived from our young and skilled team.
That’s why sponsoring such an important category made perfect sense to us.
And we were suitably impressed with the high calibre of nominations that we received.
Ultimately there could only be one winner, and the prize was deservedly awarded to Oliver Cooper from Gemini Print Group (seen below on stage with Emma Penn).
And finally, the Sussex Business Awards were held in Brighton on December 1.
We have fond memories of winning Large Business of the Year at last year's ceremony.
In 2022, we were just as delighted to sponsor another award that reflects our company ethos: the Young Achiever Of The Year.
The quality of entries for the Young Achiever category was phenomenal, and all shortlisted finalists should be incredibly proud of their achievements.
Selecting an eventual winner was not easy.
However, we were delighted to present the Sussex Young Achiever award to Sam Hickman of Summerley Recruitment (pictured below with Nortdell’s Head of Sales and Marketing Dan Grover and event host Natasha Kaplinsky).
We want to thank all our staff for the incredibly hard work they've put in this year.
And, of course, our wonderful clients for their continued business.
We are really excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to see what 2023 brings.
Merry Christmas!
